Insecurity: Ondo Rep, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo donates Vehicles to Police

Worried by the rising level of insecurity especially kidnappings, the lawmaker representing Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency, Olubunmi Tunji-ojo has donated four vehicles to police formations in the area.
At a high level stakeholders meeting on insecurity he convened, the chairman house committee on NDDC said the donation and programme, a 2020 zonal intervention project of the Border Communities Development Agency, Abuja was triggered by the unabated crimes in the two council areas.
The high level stakeholders which recently held at Ugbe with the theme Community Policing; Issues in Akoko Northeast/ Northwest federal constituency, was attended by leaders and traditional rulers from the two Council Areas.
Also present were 28 regents in the area, opinion leaders, senior Police, NSCDC and Military officials, Amotekun personel, Representatives Police Community Relations Committee, vigilante corps, students and youth groups.
