APC Presidential Primary: Asiwaju Tinubu's Emergence Is A Victory For Democracy - Ondo Rep, Tunji-Ojo

...Commends Buhari For Providing A Level Playing Ground.

The member representing Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rep. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's emergence as the Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a victory for democracy. 

The former Lagos State Governor and National leader of APC was declared the winner of the election which was held at the Eagles Square, Abuja on Wednesday. 

Tunji-Ojo, who is also the Chairman, House committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) described the process as free and fair in a statement signed by his Spokesman, Alao Babatunde. 

According to the lawmaker, "Our party has proven that its internal democracy is strong by conducting a free and fair Presidential Primary today.

"I congratulate our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for winning the contest and other contestants for the spirit of sportsmanship. The victory gives us the confidence and assuredness to look forward to 2023 and beyond.

"Asiwaju is a good manager of men and we are positive that his experience will be important in driving the nation to prosperity."

Tunji-Ojo also commends President Muhammadu Buhari for giving all aspirants a level playing field.

"We must not fail to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for providing leadership at a very critical point like this. He was able to bring everyone together and set the foundation for a successful convention. 

"With Asiwaju as our candidate and President Buhari as the leader of our party, we are sure of victory at every level in 2023." He concluded.
