BTO Gives Update on Constituency Projects
Federal Lawmaker representing Akoko North East North/West Federal Constituency,Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo has begun the drilling of boreholes in six different communities in the Federal Constituency.
This was made known by the Lawmaker who is also the House Committee Chairman, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), according to him, " Provision of clean water to the people we represent began already with the drilling of boreholes in six locations including,Ikaram Akoko, Ugbe Akoko, Ogbagi Akoko, Ajowa Akoko, Okorun and Ilepa.
He further revealed, the benefiting communities will enjoy the construction of solar boreholes with 10,000 gallons 45M metal tank.
Olubunmi Tunji Ojo also stated that he hopes to complement the project next year by adding 30 more boreholes with the goal to permanent solve the water challenge in the region.
He also added that, the project alongside six classrooms and standards toilets in Ilemopo Comprehensive High School Iboropa Akoko will be delivered in the next few weeks.
