BTO Congratulates Olugotun of Afin, Hon Rasheed Badmus on Chieftaincy Title
The Federal Lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has congratulated the new Olugotun of Afin Akoko, High Chief Rasheed
Badmus.
Tunji-Ojo who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) believes that his new elevation is a call to service.
High Chief Rasheed Badmus, a former Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development in Ondo State was on Saturday installed new Olugotun of Afin Community in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State by His Royal Highness, Oba Prof. Abdulroheem Adejoro Mustapha, the Alafin of Afin Akoko
In a statement on Sunday by his spokesperson, Alao Babatunde, the legislator congratulated the people of the town for identifying the qualities in the former commissioner which earned him the new traditional title.
"Congratulations to my own amiable brother and compatriot, High Chief Rasheed Badmus. More specifically, I want to congratulate the lovely people of Afin Akoko for the. This is a great honour for him.
"I'm convinced that this new feat would help him do more for the community."
